A new devised show exploring conspiracy, anxiety and sound.

Combining live and recorded sound with verbatim accounts of alleged victims, Like a beam of light will trace an uncertain line between various explanations for Havana Syndrome – the onset of ‘anomalous health incidents’ which first struck US officials in Cuba in 2016.

The work responds to the role of imagination in experiences of illness, fear and the genesis of conspiracy narratives.
